Heroic Pete in the Wars

The following passage describes the events which took place on Sunday 14th August as a result of an unpredictable Kitan Patel bouncer on an even less than predictable Surbiton Wicket. Gory pictures below...

"Injury update. Thanks to our noble captain I arrived at Northwick park A & E at 20.45. I amused myself for two hours reading the collected works of Will Self and observing various drunken Poles and blood stained asylum seekers staggering around. Then at 22.45 a 12 year old girl claiming to be a doctor saw me. She took one look then invited 2 further alleged medics to do the same. They all shook their heads in the manner of all great British working men making "That's a tricky one guvnor" type noises. They told me they couldn't do it and moments later I was in the cold night waiting for a cab to take me to central Middlesex hospital. This hospital is on on the cusp of Harlseden. This lovely village being the London capital of gang and gun crime. So if any one could fix they could. Cleary Sunday is Yardies night off. So I was seen swiftly. 20 mins and a whole world of pain later I was on my way home with a mouthful of 7 stitches. So that was my Sunday, 3 byes, 13 not out, 3 hospitals and no F..king tea. Thanks to all for your help. See you Sunday." HP.
